Literary submissions for our Fall 2020 issue will open in August.

Read the guidelines below and submit your work at subjectivjournal@gmail.com. Please only send one submission in each category.

Open to established and emerging writers who are residents of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or British Columbia.

No reading/submission fees.

As an indie publication that is free to read, we are unable to pay for contributions.

We do not accept simultaneous submissions but we have a short turnaround time.

We accept previously published work.

By agreeing to publication, each contributor grants Subjectiv the right to publish their work in the online issue, in promotions for the journal, and in our archive of past issues. All contributors retain full rights to their work.

Type “Journal Submission” in the subject line of your email. Include a brief cover letter with your full name, website if applicable, and a third-person bio of up to 100 words.
